Smart cities

Urbanization is a never-ending phenomenon. Today, 54% of the world’s people live in cities, a proportion that is expected to reach 66% by 2050. Combined with overall population growth, urbanization will add another 2.5 billion people to cities over the next three decades. Environmental, social and economic sustainability is a fundamental necessity to keep pace with this rapid expansion that is challenging the resources of our cities.

Solutions:

  • Energy efficiency
  • Metering (measurement of consumption units) for Gas, Water and Energy utilities.
  • Control of street lighting luminaires
  • Monitoring of electrical and environmental variables in power transformers
  • Monitoring of manhole covers and utility operators’ cameras
  • Monitoring of environmental variables (air quality, UV, rain, wind, airborne particulate matter, etc.)
  • Management of municipal solid waste collection services (SWM)
  • Intelligent parking

How does it work?

Energy efficiency, metering and lighting control:

It would allow to control the public lighting network through motion sensors that activate the light when someone passes by or be configured to turn on or off depending on the amount of ambient light, similarly, our software would detect if there is any failure in the network or for example if any of the streetlights or any other connected device presents any variation of energy out of the normal.

Monitoring of transformers, sewage and utility cameras:

It allows you to remotely manage the measurements of different types of utilities (water, electricity, gas, sewage), allowing you to monitor and optimize your infrastructure in real time, while, through macro measurements, you can analyze consumption to detect leaks or failures and keep automated control of your service billing.

Control of environmental variables (air quality, UV, rain, wind, airborne particulate matter, etc):

It focuses its solution on installing stations composed of different sensors that allow monitoring variables such as carbon monoxide (CO), temperature, humidity, pressure, nitric oxide (NO), nitric dioxide (NO²), ozone (O³), weather forecast and georeferential positioning, once this information is received and taking into account various parameters and the dynamics of urban and rural areas (depending on the case), real-time and flexible data is provided to carry out initiatives to combat in a more informed and comprehensive manner.

Management of urban solid waste collection services:

Using an ultrasound sensor installed in the solid waste container, it allows the detection of the filling level of the tanks in real time and the detection of possible risk situations such as fire or the overturning of the container.

Intelligent parking lots:

It consists of the implementation of a parking control and management system that remotely monitors the availability of parking spaces on public roads or private parking lots. Through the installation of sensors on public roads, it will be possible to understand whether the place is occupied or free for parking. This information can be consulted from any device with internet access.
